Ecodanimar faced the challenge of managing their inventory and export records through manual processes, which were time-consuming and prone to errors. Specifically, they struggled with manual calculations of weights and the separation of lime for export, leading to inaccuracies in these critical processes.

This created obstacles in maintaining accurate data, ensuring traceability, and meeting certification requirements. Insighthuis identified the opportunity to streamline and automate these processes by developing a digital solution.

Automated Inventory Management and Real-Time Data Updates

To address Ecodanimar’s needs, Insighthuis developed a custom application using AppSheet. This app allows field and warehouse staff to register merchandise, track inventory movements, and update records in real time from any device.

The automation reduced manual errors, improved data consistency, and made the entire process more efficient and user-friendly.

Custom-Built Looker Studio Operations Dashboard

In addition, Insighthuis implemented a Looker Studio dashboard that connects directly to the app’s data. This dashboard provides Ecodanimar’s management with a clear, real-time overview of inventory levels, product movements, and key performance indicators.

The solution also enables the generation of both internal and external documents, such as packing lists, inventory consolidations, consolidated and balanced records of harvested fruit, and supplier return evaluations.

With this visual tool, decision-makers can monitor operations, identify trends, generate essential documentation, and ensure compliance with export and certification standards.
